Understanding how the different types of cancer affect your body, and being aware of these changes, is a good start.

CANCER CAUTION - do you have any of the following?

C hange in bowel habits – constipation and/or diarrhoea for no reason?
A sore that won’t heal?
U nusual bleeding or discharge? Blood when you go to the toilet? Vomiting or coughing up blood?
T hickening or lumpiness in any part of the body?
I ndigestion or difficulty in swallowing? Loss of appetite, or weight loss that’s hard to explain?
O bvious changes in a wart or a mole?

All the signs and symptoms of cancer listed here may be due to other causes. See your doctor for diagnosis.
