The CanSupport Programme offers workshops and support groups
to help people cope with cancer.This programme is for people
who:
- are currently in treatment
- or have an active cancer
- or have received treatment for cancer within the last
three years
- or are close family members of cancer patients
Workshops are run over four to six weeks and most of them
are free. Topics may include:
- Coping with the impact of a cancer diagnosis and the effect
this has on relationships, work and lifestyles
- Nutrition
- Coping with treatment
- Understanding radiotherapy and chemotherapy
- Coping with the fear of recurrence
We also offer occasional classes in:
