If you or someone close to you has cancer, it may help to
talk to a Cancer Support Visitor.
Cancer Support Visitors are carefully selected volunteers
who are given specialised training so they can offer caring
support for cancer patients and their families.
Support Visitors provide assistance by:
- making contact with people with cancer or their families
- providing companionship
- being available to talk
- allowing people they visit to share fears, anxieties or
any issues of concern
- helping with practical problems
- providing support for caregivers
